  1. Hello, Ms. Camarena!

My name is Abiola Abrams and I am the author of DARE, the sizzling story of a sociologist who goes undercover and winds up in too deep as a racy rapper searching for love in the glam world of entertainment.

I would love to be a part of your virtual book tour. Please, please, get in contact, so that we may put something together. My book is due out, Dec 11th, 2007.

    Thank you again!

  2. I’d like to talk with you about a guest on your blog. In return for hosting them on your blog, I would also promote your blog. The guest would be award winning author Xujun Eberlein who has penned a book of short stories which are set during and after the Chinese Cultural Revolution. She hasn’t read about the experiences – she lived through this turbulent time and she shares unique personal insights and experiences through the lives of her characters.

Let me know if you’re interested or have questions.

  3. Hi Rebecca! To start out with, I want to say, I envy you the sandy beaches and mountain breezes. 😛

The reason I meandered over here instead of commenting on one of your posts is because I didn’t want to potentially distract from the excellent author interviews you have on here.

See, I found your blog on blogcatalog.com, and since you’re obviously into writing and literature, I wanted to let you know about a new e-zine that me and a few writer friends are putting together.

    It’s called The Oddville Press.

You should check us out if you’re interested–it’s free to subscribe, hey! Or better yet, submit something!

    Thanks a bunch!

Now I’m going to run off and download these free ebooks you mention. 😛

  4. I wanted to share with you a wonderful book by travel writer, Sheryl Kayne. Titled,
Immersion Travel USA: The Best and Most Meaningful Volunteering, Living, and Learning Excursions (The Countryman Press, a division of W.W. Norton & Company, Inc.), this book will absolutely change lives and the way people think about travel in the U.S. Designed to be a resource and idea book, this guide provides practical information about immersion travel (i.e., the active participation in the area one visits), special considerations and costs, and how to plan and take vacations, sabbaticals, side trips, and more.

  5. I am inquiring about a possible guest interview on your radio show. My name is Brian Sandell, I am a young, twenty two year old author with two works published, and I’m looking to gain more exposure for myself. My two works are a suspense/thriller and a family Christmas story. Both, of these works are available on Amazon, Barnes and Noble, etc.
I desire in writing not only to entertain, but also to show people how we can learn from the characters, the relationships, the highs, and the lows about how life should truly be lived. I also have two more books which are getting looked at by publishers and agents, across the board. The bottom line is that I write not just to entertain, or sell books, I see my career as something far greater than that. In writing, I desire to show and inspire a broken culture to stand and believe in something. I would love to chat about this wonderful, unique opportunity and I really hope we can help each other out. The best way to get in contact with me is email. One thing I am going to start doing in setting myself apart is I am going to donate 1/3 of my royalties to The Children’s Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. I really think being as blessed as I am, I should give something back. Please let me know if there is anything I can do for you!

    Have a wonderful day,
    Brian D. Sandell

  15. My name is Joe Rinaldo, and I have published a contemporary fiction ebook entitled Hazardous Choices. I would be most grateful if you would review it. I’ll provide a free copy for you to read in Word, pdf, or html format, whichever you prefer. I am also very interested in an author interview and a giveaway, if you feature those. Here is a brief blurb about Hazardous Choices:

After surviving life in a violent Chicago street gang through his high school years, Darnell Jackson’s future appears promising. A football scholarship gives him the chance to escape the thug lifestyle.

During his first year in college, Darnell safely resides in a small Kentucky town, playing Division Two college football and trying to make something of himself. Adjusting to the new surroundings proves tough, but a teammate and a girl give him hope that his future will be better than his past.

In the summer after his freshman year, he returns to the old neighborhood to be with his mother. The gang reasserts its hold on him, and the leader orders Darnell to kill a specific member of a rival gang. Nearly dying in a gang fight, Darnell shoots an enemy gangbanger; unfortunately, it is the wrong target. This forces Darnell to re-evaluate his future. As a result, he lies to the mercurial leader of his gang, claiming he completed his assignment. After “doing work” for his gang, Darnell receives permission to head back to school and the security of small-town life.

When the head gangbanger learns of Darnell’s lie, the small Kentucky town isn’t so safe anymore.

Thank you for considering Hazardous Choices. If you are willing to review my book, please email me at rinald47@gmail.com. I look forward to hearing from you.

    Joe Rinaldo
